"Backurky" as we call them in the Czech Republic have a long tradition for Czechs. If you ask any Czech person about them they will definitely know what these special shoes are. You can visit any daycare, preschool, kindergarten or school and I will guarantee you will see children wearing them.
Backurky have even survived "rough economic times" in the 90's when thousands of cheap Asian shoes started overwhealming the Eastern European market. But luckily, they made it. It is actually nice to find shoes for children not made in China.
Backurky are made from children-friendly materials and are designed to fit growing feet of our children. It is extremely important for kids to wear good quality shoes so their feet develop properly. Backurky meet very strict standards for the European Union. They have even received "Excellent Quality" seal from the Czech government. I have never seen the seal on any of the Asian made shoes. Hmmm...
